The Embassy of India, Dakar is pleased to announce the third edition of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS), which will be held in Varanasi from February 15th to February 24th, 2025. Due to the overwhelming response received during the previous two editions and inspired by the immense enthusiasm witnessed, the Government of India, has decided to organise another edition of KTS this year.
The objective of this programme is to rediscover and strengthen the centuries old connect between the two ancient knowledge centres of the country and realise the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. In the last two editions of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, over 4000 people from Tamil Nadu, representing varied
occupations, travelled to Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya on an 8-day immersive tour.
The main theme in this year's event is highlighting the significant contributions of Sage Agasthyar to the Siddha System of Medicine (Bharatiya Chikitsa) and his contributions in the field of Classical Tamil Literature, Grammar etc. Moreover, this year's edition is coinciding with two important events namely the celebration of Maha
Kumbh at Sangam, Prayagraj and visit to Ramjanmabhoomi temple at Ayodhya.
The Indian community, especially the Tamil Diaspora and friends of India are encouraged to participate enthusiastically in this year's Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS 3.0).
