GI Digital Catalogue featuring 419 registered Indian GIs Department for the Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has created a GI Digital Catalogue featuring 419 registered Indian GIs. This catalogue includes high-definition photographs, short videos, and detailed descriptions that highlight the name, uniqueness, history and region of each GI. Additionally, with each GI product, a list of registered manufacturers, growers, and sellers registered as authorised users with the GI registry is embedded in the QR code. These users can be reached out for the purpose of organising exhibitions, procuring GI items as gifts & offering necessary financial & administrative support through specific policy measures or under any schemes.
