Embassy of India Dakar Press Release Shri T. Baskaran, Counsellor & Cd’A, handed over a cheque for US$ 54,196.00 (equivalent to Euro 50,000/-) to the Foreign Minister H.E. Mr. Mankeur NDIAYE in the Senegalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Senegalese Abroad on November 30, 2016. This amount was a Cash Assistance from the Government of India to the Republic of Senegal for organizing ‘Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa” from 5-6 December 2016 in Dakar. Embassy of India Dakar Press Release Ambassador Shri Rajeev Kumar handed over a cheque for US$ 53,254.00 (equivalent to Euro 50,000/-) to Dr. Bineta D. Ba MBACKE, Director, CNAO, in the presence of H.E. Mrs. Awa Marie Coll SECK, Senegalese Minister of Health and Social Action, in Dakar on March 9, 2017 in the Ministry. This amount was a Cash Assistance from Government of India for purchase of artificial limbs from Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), Jaipur, and will help 200 Senegalese nationals to be fitted with artificial limbs.
